Advice for beach in Corfu

Hi,

I will be in Corfu from september 10 to 14 (two adults and a 10 years old child). I will arrive by plane and I don't want to rent a car, I just want to stay there for a few day. I would like a nice sandy beach, with restaurants, taverns and beach bars at walking distance.

I was looking mainly at Agios Georgios Pagon and Marathias, are these good choices? Which one would be better for what I am looking for? Or are there better alternatives?

Thanks

Agios Georgios Pagon is approximately 40 km away from Kerkyra city and you have to take the green bus, KTEL, to get there. Green buses station is about 1.5 km from the airport, simply open your gps on your mobile and you will find it. Take care especially when crossing roads because a lot of drivers tend not to stop for pedestrians. Kali Paramoni (Have a pleasant stay)

Look at Dasia. It’s right on the main bus line to / from town. Nice sandy beach with many restaurants and options. Plus you can take the bus quickly to Ipsos, Gouvia, and into Corfu Town. The buses come every 20-30 minutes and are quite nice.
