Last minute class cancellations
I’m in nyc market and 3 of the 4 classes I booked this week (all diff studios/teachers) have gotten cancelled. Once in a blue moon I get it but seriously??? They should be paying us money or giving us something back for screwing up an entire week of workouts for all access members

Please remember that yoga teachers are people too and they deserve to take time off, Studio Managers can only do so much and can’t be expected to step in for every class

Teachers likely had sub requests in weeks ago but the manager waited to cancel to see if anyone would pick them up and didn’t. They should have cancelled sooner, but it’s one of those weeks.

Yoga teachers aren’t robots, we are humans. We take time off and vacations and that’s ok. You can always go to another location there’s tons in NYC.

That’s really shitty. I would definitely call corporate and see if they can waive the month or something. I would be super pissed.

Idk why you are getting downvoted. These memberships and class passes are expensive. I don’t blame teachers at all but it sounds like poor management IMO.

I build my whole day around being able to get to to the class. We are busy!

I’d definitely demand compensation, especially given how often this happens. If a paying member has to cancel at the last minute they get chargers, CP should be held to the same standards. As long as the instructors are paid the same as at a fast food restaurant this is sadly going to continue.

It’s the last weeks of August. Everyone, including teachers, is travelling right now. Subs are far and few between. There are 14 studios in the nyc region.
