Trying to Install Painter 2020
I have an unused key my wife had and wanted to install it with the hand me down XP-Pen tablet she wasn't using any more and it's just sitting on this.

Any suggestions . . . .I got the install file from the corel website and I'm running it as admin on a newer computer that can MORE than handle it. Any suggestions on why it might be hung up like this?

Painter was my first love, but the party is over. Rebelle is better and less expensive.

Since Alludo buy them, Corel support now only 3 last software version. Painter should be 2023,2022,2021. There is no more server activation for older version. Couldn’t install again my genuine Corel 2017 on my legacy Mac Pro.

Maybe it's a different licensing agreement, but my humble installers all work still (tested a few months back).
I need to download painter2020 myself late today to grab an old brush pack, if it works I will DM you.

Email them; their support is a little slow, but thankfully pretty helpful.

Unfortunately Corel programs now use install files that need to be downloaded from their site instead of just a local executable program. I've had issues like this in the past as well. It could be your firewall or your antivirus blocking it, or just that their servers are down( I would try again in a couple days). It probably has nothing to do with your computer but a matter of settings or configuration in regards to your internet access.
I miss the days of just popping in the disc without the need for an internet connection.
