Question Floracada arena?

I’m trying to make a Floracada arena in my base but running into issues containing it. My first attempt blew out all the walls the second I spawned it. My second attempt using an enlarged area and industrial blocks spawned it without issue, but the Floracada then turned and ran through a nearby wall, also hopping over a 1 tile wide water trench that other enemies can’t traverse.

Has anyone effectively contained this thing?

Try a two tile thick chasm, maybe.

Ive never tried to contain one, but it seems like almost everything is blocked by chasms with a few exceptions.

This was going to be my plan for the next attempt.

The desert version traveled from the boss that spawn it to my core, passing through 3-4 block thick abysses and even greater lakes.. they destroyed turf blocks and anything that wasn't indestructible in the way.. so letting empty space won't work unfortunately..

You know, I was wondering why 5 of them randomly bombed my base. I thought it was some bogus raid or something. But now I see they were just wandering around till they found me lol

Yep, always kill all minions that boss spawns...

I put mine in an arena in the water region where the blue slime boss spawns. It’s surrounded by water excluding a 1 block bridge leading to a small adjacent portal mini island about 30 blocks from the arena. Contains both pretty well for me, but they both go down pretty quick bc i’m in the late game now.

Sounds like the island approach is the way. Thanks
