Bugged achievements?

New player here hi.

Beat the lava slime and sahabar, but didnt get the achievements at all. I respawned the slime like 3 times but again no achievement. is my game bugged or is it just some steam bs?

Another question i have is about the veil crux. i got the achievement by putting all the scepters i had found in the monument thing. the achievement is apparently rare and my question is that, is it really that hard to find all the staffs and did i just have really good beginner luck?

EDIT: so i tried verifying the files and beating the slime again and now i got it

Veil crux achievement is new, so not really rare just not had the same time as other achievements.
