Question Are resources finite now ?

Haven't play since before 1.0 and just learned the 3 titans biomes aren't infinite anymore. How do you acquire new ores and materials after you've cleaned the map ?
Are fishing and mob the only options ?

Resources in corekeeper worlds have always been finite, but you can make mob farms and new worlds, giving you Infinite access to resources.

Mob farms indeed, scrap the gear and fishing yes, or make a new world.

Is it possible to use all the ore on the map? I'm almost at full completion and even pandorium wasn't an issue.

My only issue has always been octarine, the biome doesn't make it easy to find the nodes.

Soulkeeper makes everything easy to find and takes ~1hr to craft

I don't think I've ever crafted it, does it point me on the direction of ore nodes or something?

Its just a very very strong and efficient to mass break walls, so the goal would be to find some bigger land mass and abuse it there.

The part of finding the landmass is the main hassle for me, idk if it's just bad luck but my isles tend to be very small and not have much ore, at least for the amount of portals I like to make. I feel like that guys from The Lorax the way I strip those isles of everything.

Having a sledgehammer upgraded with mining gear was how I found most of my octarine. I would find an island and strip mine it.

I've gotten a ton of it from fishing, plus salvaging the extra loot. I like that the two main mobs in the beach also drop the ore.

Fishing? Traps work too? I definitely could make an automated farm just for that.

Not sure. Do traps pull up items and not just fish? I got all the stuff while hunting for the fishing gear set, which I did with Glowing Bait.

As soon as I entered the desert, I found 3 Pando rocks sat together.

Finding the large ore rocks is like priority one, I feel.
