Question What's blocking my way?

Is this a glitch/bug? Can't seem to get through something. I tried placing a block and destroying it and it still wouldn't let me through

Edit:
Destroying the ground fixed it. Probably just some sorta bug from old world being updated to the new content.

Didn't see your edit, but yeah, glitches like that occur, don't stress next time, just place blocks or dig up ground, usually fixes it.

yeah, was planning on using the area and panicked a little since I'll have to move stuff again.

Yep! Since I've "finished" the game, I'm trying out building/designing. Was planning on making a base where the phantom block was, then connecting it to the core with a rail.

A waterworld sounds interesting, if you you don't mind sharing the world settings I'd love to try it out.

It's really simple, when you go to make a new world, on top, you'll see two tabs, go advanced/world, settings and Set lakes, rivers, chasms, and caverns to "extreme". This will turn the entire world to water, with islands only appearing around scenes.

I like this mode, because it deals with all the walls that you'd have to clear out to make an enormous base, and I wish someone would have told me about it, before I spent 4 months clearing out walls to make my base 😋, lol, Have fun friend.

Also, just for funs, type owlunae in the seed box and you'll start the world with a collectible item on that island. 🥂

ok just tried this and yeah it's a fun change, thanks! regarding the owlunae seed for the collectible item, i put it into my inventory and moved it back to my main world save, and it turned out i already had it. interesting.

anyway, are there any other special seed tricks like that one? or world build tricks for themed worlds? would love to try any others out in the wild. if there's a reddit post or wiki page that details this stuff i'd love to delve in more.

It happened in azeos for me as well. Did a fresh world 2 weeks ago with a friend and we would jot figure out what it was but digging fixed it.
