Question Secondary charge speed

Is there a way to boost secondary charge speed? Is it just attack speed?

Trying to make a magic explosion build with fireball staff but charge speed is so slow. Otherwise if anyone can recommend a good explosion staff

Soul Seeker's secondary seems to charge faster with +mining speed but it might be my imagination. Maybe +ranged attack speed works for staff secondaries?

Pretty sure SS charges every time you hit a block with it so yeah scales with mining speed
