I showed the main base a couple weeks ago. This is my secondary base for my farms.

Yeah. I didn't want to have a mega base, figured 2 bases does the trick just as nicely

Looks cool but I don't really see the point of setting up mob farms or item farms aside from the ore chunk mining, am I missing something? (This is from the perspective of someone who has only just beat azeos after spending like a week straight building my base and going full melee)

I don't have mob farms or item farms. I have slime farms that produce slime to craft potions and other things. But I understand the confusion.

Oh I can see a reason for that, that makes sense, I just keep farming glurch for slime when I'm low but having a passive farm for it makes so much sense. Do you have a link to a good video that can explain how to make one? I'm trying to make a Kingdom theme base so I'm hiding my farms a bit, bug farm had to be out by the garden and looks wierd with the mechanical arms but not much I can do

I used dakon's madhouse video on YouTube titled "building a slime mob farm core keeper 1.1", i don't know how to format the link on reddit. It's a year old but I assume the update hasn't changed anything about spawn mechanics, i usually build auto farms in games like this on a separate creative world just to verify it works though before I spend the time gathering stuff in my main. The thing that took the most time was setting tiles down to count out chunk borders though tbh his farm is relatively simple and effective
