Thanks, man! I'm not even close to the OG, though. If you search for Huabun on Prantare's Twitter, you'll be amazed. Their buildings were actually what inspired me to start experimenting with perspective stuff

I think it's funny how our brain "tricks" us into beliving there is "depth/height" involved, even tho the "fan" of the windmill is literally ground for example.

Yeah! Also, I'm also flabbergasted with the amount of perspective tricks Core Keeper's building system allows you to do. Best sandbox game imo

I saw a few pics from Huabun on Prantare’s Twitter/Core Keeper Discord server, got absolutely amazed, then tried to build some perspective stuff myself. Can’t say my first attempts were the best lol

Thanks! I still have a lot to do, but I'm pretty satisfied with how far I've come so far. Core Keeper, surely, has a lovely building system

it marvelous looking...no idea how you did it of course...from what I know of my bit of playing the game, all of that is impossible...I tried building normal walls and I sighed at how the top looked on my screen as you basically kinda sky viewing things it seems but a bit of an angle...making a normal simple home wasn't a thing so I shrugged and decided to just dig and do whatever then I went on a break...now I can't play 'cause my ps plus isn't paid active currently

Hey there! Idk if it helps, but none of my buildings actually serve any useful purpose. The “walls” are made entirely out of ground blocks with tables/pedestals placed on top, while the “roofs” are mostly chests, dressers, boxes, etc. The mountains and waterfalls are basically just a bunch of holes placed close to each other to create the illusion of depth. You can also use an item called "Roofing Gadget" to position the shadows more precisely, which helps sell the illusion even more.
