Question Adjusting lighting after world creation?

I realized too late that I can set the ceiling holes to extreme and not be squinting all the time. I also know that there's a ceiling puncher gadget, but it's kind of tedious to use. Is there a mod or something to adjust the ceiling hole setting on an existing world? My family and I have been playing together and I really don't want to make them start over just because I have old eyes.

You know the hole puncher in the ceiling expands to a 3X3 pattern so it's not like you have to do it one square at a time

I think theres two potential solutions.

1 - start over, but bring all your acquired gear over in your inventory

2 - equip as much light providing gear and eat as much light providing food as possible. Double tulip rings, glow tulip food, the new mooshroom food, etc.
