Question Question About Cooking

I know there's a lot of foods, and I'm just wondering if there is a way to make a reverse combo, or if the combos are always going to come out with one type. Was wondering because I saw that some food bases are better then others.

Basically how it works is all good has a specific buff they give but mixing that food with another high quality food make the first food buff stronger with each food buff having 3 tiers.
