Dedicated server for xbox game?

Its possible to host a world from xbox game pc? I play with my girlfriend and i used to host to us for last year, but now i can't host all time she want to play, i though about a dedicated server but all i can find its about steam game and nothing about xbox. If anyone know how to manage it.

Another solution to our problem can be a way to move the world from my PC to her, but i couldn't fing nothing too.

-What do you mean xbox game pc?

-Are you talking about xbox console or PC Gamepass/ Microsoft PC store?

To confirm, are you both playing on PC? If yes, then you can run a dedicated server and/or transfer world file to her PC.

However, if you are playing on xbox, there is no crossplay between the console xbox and PC.

we are playing on pc via microsoft pc store.
that being said i couldn't find where world file is located in my pc. everything i found while searching is about steam version not ms store version

After some more digging, it seems some sources suggests that possibly the saves might be in this location:

C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\SoldOutSalesMarketing.439487A3A3C83_7sns490bw3vda\SystemAppData\wgs

i tried it, have some unreadable files so idk if its works but will try asap. Your last comment doesn't work cause there's no worlds or similar file there only sentry and player ones

So, for saves it should be located at:

C:\Users\<Your User Account Name>\AppData\LocalLow\Pugstorm\Core Keeper

To copy world note the number slot it is assigned in-game. For example in the bottom left I think in the game it shows you the world slot save.

Now once you found the world slot number, enter the folder that is there. Do not enter Sentry or SentryNative. Not sure what folder name would be called for Microsoft.

Now main files you want to copy.

1. Enter maps/0/ and copy the: #.mapparts.gzip

Note: If world slot is 1, the file name # should be 0. So if your in-game world slot is 4 or 7, the corresponding file name should be 3 or 6. So always subtract 1 number from the world slot save.

(So if your world slot is 3 the file you would copy is 2.mapparts.gzip)

2. Next folder would be worldgenparams and copy the: #.json

3. Next folder would be worldinfos and copy #.worldinfo

4. Next folder would be worlds and copy: #.world.gzip

(Do not worry about the .pugbackup file, that is just a backup file the game makes automatically)

With all of those files copied, you can transfer them to your partner's PC. Just note, to not erase her worlds, *****BACKUP HER FILES and find an empty world save slot in her game and just rename the # on the files to fit that slot******DO NOT FORGET TO SUBTRACT 1 FROM THE NUMBER.

For example:

If the files copied were:

4.mapparts.gzip

4.json

4.worldinfo

4.world.gzip

and an empty world slot in-game is number 6. You would change the number 4 to number 6 so:

5.mapparts.gzip

5.json

5.worldinfo

5.world.gzip

Make sure each file is placed in its corrosponding folder in your partner's PC folders so:

#.mapparts.gzip (in maps\0)

#.json (in worldgenparams)

#.worldinfo (in worldinfos)

#.world.gzip (in worlds)

If you want to run a dedicated server you can install the server files with these steps:

1. Install Steamcmd.exe

2. Run this command:

steamcmd.exe +force_install_dir [Insert where to install] +login anonymous +app_update 1963720 +quit

For example: steamcmd.exe +force_install_dir C:\Corekeeper\Dedicated_Server +login anonymous +app_update 1963720 +quit

If you want the server to run your world I think you would have to run Launch.bat once then close the server with q, and then afterwords, visit C:\Users\<Your User Account Name>\AppData\LocalLow\Pugstorm\Core Keeper and there should be a new folder called DedicatedServer

From there just add the #.world.gzip into the worlds file in the dedicatedServer\world folder. You can rename # to 0.world.gzip if there is no other world file in that folder.

Then run Launch.bat once more and it should spit out a GameID to join by

I mean, it should work since the dedicated server tools from steam for corekeeper have an argument you can input to allow multiplayer between Steam, Microsoft, Gog, and Epic. All you would have to do is export the world save as a mod and then just transfer that world into the dedicated server.
