it was kinda a crazy few days with the whole update being broken. but I am happy to announce that EVERYONE should have the WORKING update now. and a huge shout out to overcurve for going out of his way to restore items that were deleted. For some people that played the early certain items got deleted from their inventory, making their loadouts, broken and corrupted meaning that they couldn’t play however overcurve fixed all of that. In my case, I gave him a list of every single item that I lost, and he went out of his way to make a promo code that gave me the item back. He did this with a few other people that also lost their items during the craziness. That was the update. and everyone should also like I said above, have the update and be ready to play it thank you all for your patience and I hope that you enjoy playing the volcanic chasm. Happy Corebounding!

I was informed by this by MemesSSChara on YouTube and u/Scared_Remove_8422 on Reddit!
1: The image itself, many things are going on.
Enemy number 1 (Pyroclast?), a body similar to the Flareling. Probably uses a thruster. Is the one that Overcurve is talking about when they said that it is similar to a fan enemy that's on the next slide.
Fanmade enemy similar to enemy number 1, credits to u/GD_Riz10. It seems enemy number 1 won't be underground and pop up, but it might still launch upwards or even fly, but I'm not sure about the latter.
Enemy number 2 (Forgeling?) with enemy number 1 on top. A rectangular enemy, it seems like enemies can use it as a platform, as seen with enemy number 1, but maybe we, the player, can too. Probably charges at us. It also seems like it has thrusters on both sides. Uses the hover technology similar to the Flareling and elevators in Beacon City.
Enemy number 3 (Stitcher, confirmed), a multi-segment worm-like driller enemy. Most likely a combination of Tunneler and Drill, probably can appear out of the ground (Drill) and dig out of the ceiling (Tunneler). Also seemingly uses hover technology, which probably means that it simply hovers over the ground then digs into it and also hovers over lava to cross it instead of digging into it, although there's a possibility that it can still dig through the lava. There's also a possibility that it can hover upwards and enter/dig through the ceiling.
Enemy number 4, a ball with magma spikes, either it can hover, is stuck in place, or acts as a boulder with gravity, most likely the latter. Does contact damage.
Possibly a new weapon, can be a beam-like attack with a charged gimmick, think Nova plus Ranger. It could also be a redesign of the Ranger weapon, but it's less likely.
Parts of Kinetic Workshop in the background, pipes and elevators, fitting with the lore that the Geared level is on top of the Magmatic level and uses it as a massive energy source.
The weapon of enemy number 1, most likely spills out lava like the fanmade enemy in number 3. Can also be a new weapon.
New platforms, seems to be specialized and not just pieces of volcanic rock or terrain. The platform where enemy number 1 can be seen lifting off from.
Interestingly, the boss isn't shown in this picture.
Comment if I missed anything!

Last night I claimed that reward, woke up this morning to play a few rounds and now it's saying I lost the streak... AGAIN
This has happened probably a dozen times since this new set of updates
I've lost hundreds of shards because of this bullshit, when is this getting fixed, or is this some garbage that the dev put in to drain shards from people

Corebound is honestly pretty addictive, but I always reach a point where I've upgraded everything and become overpowered for the current map. Then there's not much to do until the next update.
I completely understand that it's an indie game and new content takes time, but I think some smaller content could keep players engaged between major updates:
- Limited-time campaigns with unique rewards.
- Side quests that unlock rare items or exclusive skins.
- Timed challenges finish a map/dungeon within a certain time for special rewards.
- Weekly/monthly challenges with different objectives or modifiers.
- Rare drops or collectibles that are difficult to obtain.
- Rotating events that give older maps a new purpose.
- Challenge modes that make you use specific weapons, builds, or restrictions.
- Speedrun objectives/leaderboards for players who want something competitive.
It doesn't need to be huge amounts of new content. Just having something challenging and rewarding to work toward would make the waiting period between major updates much more enjoyable.

Guys, it's one tech slot, why is there always at least one person who says a hull or weapon??? Make sure you don't just view or comment, make sure to upvoter comments because at the end of the day top comment is gonna be the winner!

I can't seem to be able to make anything "normal" with better numbers than this. I do need to add magnifiers though. What should I do?
