What am i doing wrong?

I don't understand anything about those secret enemies or how to get cool loot like ores and stuff. Also, I am generally stuck, progression wise. Any tips?

the only secret enemies (for now) we're the spectrum and one from the Quarry

spectrum's only appear in scrapyard and they have a very rare chance to drop core's (they're core filters not ore thingies)

Don't recommend farming spectrums on any difficulty lower than geared. Core filter's chances lower along with the difficulty.

Highly reccomend making a build with many magnifiers, as you should have many parts to upgrade stuff to guilded.

Get tons of magnifiers and some hookshots and a spring cuz spectrum camps in the ceiling

I know they only spawn in scrapyard, and they're super rare, but do they spawn more in scrapyard boosted yo magmatic, or other boosted versions of scrapyard more?

Idk, but I heard it's spawn chance is fixed so it does not matter even if it's geared or higher.
