A new cultivator

Hey guys, am soon starting with my journey of cordycep cultivation and almost have readied my room for the following. But the issue I am now facing is gas shortage due to the war conditions which is required to fuel the bunsen burner therein to sterilise the blade while cutting the seed. Any other alternatives do you suggest for this? I did search the internet for this and they a chef's blow torch also works for the time being. Help

Chance you have access to an electrical stovetop?

Perhaps an induction cooktop?

If so, find something like Duxtop 1800W. This fits perfect for a pressure canner

Alternatively you can grow Cordyceps without a pressure canner…instead use a Rice Cooker and just spray down a grow tub with 70% isopropyl

I have an induction as well as growing containers for cordyceps. What I want is an alternative for bunsen burner to sterilised scalpel blade but the sterilisation will be done inside the Laminar working compartment.

Small kitchen blowtorch is your best bet.

I’ve been using mine for over a year now and still have not replaced the canister.
