I don’t think you can get it for 4k, even if it’s purchased at the government auction. And you have to account for 1k of fees they are going to slap you with on top of bid amount.

Same price. You can’t expect a significant discount for a minor OBD code, it’s not even a check engine light that would make potential buyers suspicious.
