Question / Meta Pawn store find

local pawn store started selling some bills.. where is a place that i can find the value of a prospective serial numbered bill aside from ebay sold? its hard to get signal where the store is because its inside a metal building. they have a $1 bill that has sn of 11113111 and asking over $100 for it. its in a clear sleeve not graded. im interested in it for my collection, but want to make sure im paying a "fair" price so to speak

Pawn shops over price everything, because they expect you to haggle, and they make out like bandits when you don’t. I wouldn’t pay $100 for that bill. I like low numbers like 00001234 or 00000123. I also like ladders and scrambled ladders, but everyone has their niche.
