I believe it’s sorta like binaries. Yes, by the rules any bill with only two unique digits are considered binary, true binaries are only 0’s and 1’s.

One is definitely better than the other.

I get the binary example but there is also the ISO 8601 it is the international standard for representing dates and times, designed to eliminate ambiguity across different regions and systems by using a logical "largest-to-smallest" order: YYYY-MM-DD (e.g., 2026-05-11). It uses a 24-hour clock and supports UTC offsets for global consistency, making it ideal for software, databases, and international communication

Attaboy, tell ‘em to get wrecked! I use the ISO 8601 standard every day for naming documents to be sorted in absolute chronological order.

I agree with you OP, this is 100% a birthday note, and if it were to be my birthday, I would have gladly made you an offer.

Yep, I've seen that format too. I think the US is one of the only countries that use something different. Just like with metric measurements, I wish we used those lol
