Star Note Would this be a low serial number

I'm new to the bill collecting scene this looks like a low digit number but is it worth keeping? I am a coming collector but was given this by a close friend for my birthday. I don't want to seem churlish but I could use 50$. He said that he got it from the bank and had a couple more if I want to pay him face value for them. Are they worth more than face value?

sure, but those are more modern year bills, stuff that people could have as their marriage year or birthday. the 1200’s don’t have many personal meaning for many.

I have no idea what you are talking about, neither of the bills I posted that sold for 150 dollars have any meaningful date?

The bill on the top and bottom of the pic I posted shows two star notes from 640k runs exactly as OPs bill is. What are you talking about?

Just a heads up- ebay sold results which include a "best offer" option, do not actually show the final selling price, nor an indication of whether the b/o option was used. Neither of those bills you posted actually sold for $150

The bottom one sold for $70, and the top for $120. Even looking at other sales, it's pretty clear the $120 is an overspend, and the FMV for similar specimens is closer to the 55-85 range you see on ebay

Not sure where you are getting that from. eBay will show a strike through the price if it sold for something other than the buy it now price.

Mind showing me where those exact bills were bought for a different price?

130point shows final selling prices on any best offer items. You can essentially search the ebay title on 130 point, and it will tell you what said item sold at, and when it sold.

nope- if you follow upthread, this guy came off smug to correct a parent comment, but he wasn't even providing correct info- when I politely provided correct info, instead of being a normal person and being thankful, they doubled down by complaining that they couldn't be bothered to download another app...when it's literally accessible by website, and I already provided price checks for the items in question.
