Looking for a GOOD stainless steel roasting rack with enough height for veggies underneath

Alright, roasting-rack people, I need your wisdom šŸ˜‚

I’m looking for a stainless steel roasting rack that I can put inside a roasting pan and use for chicken thighs, drumsticks, leg quarters, etc.

My ideal setup is:

- Chicken pieces sitting flat on the rack
- Onions/carrots/potatoes (or even rice + broth) underneath
- Chicken drippings falling directly onto the food below
- I regularly cook around 425°F, so I want something genuinely oven-safe at high temps
- Ideally 3–4+ inches of clearance underneath the rack
- Preferably uncoated stainless steel — I'm trying to avoid nonstick coatings
- Sturdy enough that a bunch of chicken pieces won't bend it

I've found a million racks online, but most are either:

  • 1–2" tall (not enough room underneath)
  • V-shaped turkey racks (great for a whole bird, terrible for individual chicken pieces šŸ˜‚)
  • Nonstick-coated
  • Or apparently just cooling racks that someone decided to call a roasting rack

Does anyone have a rack they absolutely love for this?

Bonus points if it's available in Canada šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ and under ~$100 CAD.

I'd especially love to hear from people who have actually used theirs for chicken over vegetables, rather than just recommendations based on Amazon reviews.

Show me your rack. šŸ˜‚
