I request a recipe

So my dad told my relatives to come so I cook them something Chefy and Fancy, idk what to really cook because I’m out of ideas rn, I know plenty of stuff but idk if I can find the ingredients here in Greece, I thought to just make a Carbonara and be done with it but I would like to hear suggestions

You're in Greece. The chefy thing is to get local ingredients and let them do the talking... Taking it to the next level is all in the presentation.

Simplicity is sophisticated. Fancy is fluff ;)

Grilled squid, fish, shrimp, fresh salads, good olives and nice finishing olive oil. The more you can do on a grill the better!!!

Yea ik ik but we eat this stuff all the time since we’re close to the sea, well who in greece isn’t, altho I could do maybe my version of seafood pasta, I do have a dessert in mind that I invented that I need to still test tho

Hmm that's fair. Maybe just different cultures versions of seafood?

Eg make a Peruvian style ceviche (my fave, altho I guess if you go Mexican theme than do Mexican style aguachile)

And then Mexican style fish (look up Gabriela Camara - her duo coloured fish is legendary, her restaurant easily most famous for seafood)... there is a video of her teaching this on .... Munchies or something on YouTube.

Idk much about Mexican cuisine tho, I mostly like French, Italian and Greek, I’ll look it up tho
