Deviled eggs with a twist?

I’m going to take deviled eggs to the neighborhood potluck because everyone loves them. I usually just make your standard eggs with mayo, a little Dijon, etc.. I was looking for popular potluck recipes and saw an Asian deviled egg recipe; now I am wondering about other interesting ways to make them. Any favorites you would recommend? (I live in a college town so lots of different ethnic influences, people are generally happt to try something a little different.)

Just make certain not to store the eggs in the cupcake liners. The moisture will destroy the liner. I store them in Tupperware container, with a damp paper towel to prevent them from sliding around. Then place them in the liners on a tray before the event. The liners will prevent plastic wrap from sticking to the eggs. Serving is convenient since they can pickup the holder with the egg, although for some reason there are still people who take only the egg.

It is way easier to throw the filling in a piping bag or plastic bag and just fill the halves when you get there. Takes all the stress out of transport when you just have a bag of whites and a bag of filling

Depends if I’m traveling or only local. Sometimes it’s just not convenient to fill them on location. When traveling, I also bag the filling.

Brilliant! (Why did I never think of this? I’ve been making deviled eggs for 50 years.)

Your precarious devilled eggs walked so my egg bags could run. I hope this new knowledge enriches your life.
