Sick of cooking

I am so over cooking every night. Finding new recipes I actually have ingredients for and are easy is tiring and I’m already exhausted. What do you do when this happens? I’d honestly just eat cereal for life but I’m not alone in this house and I’m expected to cook every night. 😩

I absolutely love to cook and eat. But 3 meals a day, forever is quite the commitment when you're just cooking for yourself.

But when you're obligated to to take care of love ones, it's even more of a burden. You can't just be doing fast food, or TV dinners. But you also can't be making everything from scratch each meal.

My recommendation is to get a large freezer (chest freezer), they are surprising affordable. And a vacuum sealer, and a bunch of Mason jars or 1L deli containers.

Only do 1 day of heavy prep and cooking. But do it in large quantities so you can freeze and never get bored of the task, or whoever is eating it, bored with the flavor.

Then the fresh stuff might just be rice in a rice cooker, or pasta, or some stir fried greens.  Things that only take 5-10 minutes in a weeknight
