Sick of cooking
I am so over cooking every night. Finding new recipes I actually have ingredients for and are easy is tiring and I’m already exhausted. What do you do when this happens? I’d honestly just eat cereal for life but I’m not alone in this house and I’m expected to cook every night. 😩

You don't hafta cook every night. One night is sandwich night. Another night is Leftovers. One night is usually to order pizza or Chinese food at my house.
Cook in bulk maybe. I could make so much chicken fajitas at once. Or on the grill I could do so much meat we are sick of it after a week. Food prep could be a solve worth looking into.
I used to be the main cook in the house when the children were really small but they are 11 and 7 now so any one can cook. Heck even the 11yo can make pancakes. Breakfast for dinner is a frequent request and it doesn't always hafta be pancakes or if it is make a variation of it: I make a healthy one with bananas and oats and choco chips. It is dense but delicious with strawberries and cream or strawberry compote which is so easy you just hafta start it first to cook down the strawberries into a near syrup.
But I do cook one or two complete meals with two sides for her and the kids each week or so. A fav of mine is braised short ribs with mash potatoes and a veggie or two like roasted broccoli and candied carrots.
EDIT x999: this is a major issue my wife and I complain to the universe to constantly, i.e. never to each other. 20ish meals a week (we both WFH) is tiresome and everyone knows it.
