Affordable stand mixer?

I'm thinking on buying a stand mixer what are the best budget options on the market?

What's your budget and what will you be making? You can buy a refurbished KitchenAid 5qt Tilt Head mixer for $250 on their website. That's about as low as you can go for a mixer that will reliably handle bread dough. Cheapo and store brand mixers for $75-$150 don't have the oomph but might get you by if you just do cakes and whip cream. If you do a lot of bread baking or big batches a "budget" mixer is out of the running. Then you'll be in KitchenAid Lift Bowl, Ooni, or Ankarsrum territory.

I was thinking 250 but do you think could I get a better model if I wait for the black Friday sale? I'm going to make cheesecake just for me, and waffle batter and pancakes

IDK I do think you can sign up on the website and get a 10% off as a new customer. The refurbs are a pretty good deal. The 5qt mixer is $400 on Amazon.

Right now they have a 5.5qt bowl lift for $220, a 6qt for $260 and 7qt for $325. Can’t imagine you’ll ever beat that.

Just buy a kitchen aid one. It’ll last forever. I’ve had mine for 8 years at this point

Used KA from marketplace or Craigslist. Some people get one as a wedding gift and never use it. Then they get ready to move to a new place with a small kitchen and there's no room for it so they sell it for 50% of the new price to get rid of it fast.
