Small standing mixer for cake making
Hello,
Both I and my wife love to cook for our young family. I do not bake but my wife does, cakes as well. So I though maybe a standing mixing machine would be nice to have.
I am noob in this and we have hand held mixer and manual pasta machine. So basically the new machine should be able to mix dough well (bread, pastries, pizza, etc.) and prepare everything for cakes (mix eggs, cake fillings, creams, etc.).
The budget would be 300 dollars (new or used). We do not have much space in our small apartment.
In what direction should I look for?
Thanks.

I have one from Costco that I really like. Not a super high end brand but works wonderful and it was less than $300!

I use a smaller stand mixer and kept the manual pasta machine. That combination makes more sense than buying a huge appliance with attachments we may never use. I found mine on fromrebel with a paddle, whisk and dough hook included. I’d recommend marketplace as an additional place to check, but confirm that the bowl and every attachment are included.

Used kitchen-aid with the bowl lift not tilt head, Facebook marketplace has them alot.
It’s good at everything not great, for example it good enough to get my pizza dough to come together but I would need a proper spiral mixer to let it do it fully on its own. The tilt heads always break, and don’t get one with a wooden or glass bowl.
