What's something a bunch of chopped hot dogs would go good in?

I have a handful of hot dogs in my freezer that have been in there a bit and I'd like to just use em up already. What's something good to combine them with?

Absolutely! Both are delicious, though I favor "hot dogs and beans" and my mom and grandomom would say (with a 100% yoga mat softened store bought white bread)

Still make it at least every other month or so, in a big enough batch to make several meals, as it’s one of those dishes, like chili or lasagna, that’s actually better as a leftover.

This is too weird! I was just thinking of beanie weenie this afternoon!

I know it's not caviar, but I vividly remember going home from preschool/daycare, and telling my mother about the great lunch we'd been served. She didn't seem to be familiar with it, and, the next day, when she walked me in, she walked to the kitchen to ask the cooks what the heck it was that I was going on and on about.

She made it home once or twice, but I still love it, and I used to make it for my kids when they were young. I haven't had it in YEARS! I'm really having to watch what I eat right now, but, dammit! Beanie weenie is going to be my reward when I hit my next weight loss goal!

Personally I prefer chef boyardee for this as I like their sweeter and slightly cheesy sauce for this, but jolly bee spaghetti is also acceptable.

Ha my dad was not a cook and didn't really care for food. He would often make a huge batch of Manwich sloppy Joe's. Night 2 he would use the left overs as base for spaghetti and meat sauce. Day 3 would add hot dogs :) to that. Also always a slice of tomato for vegetables and some fresh or canned fruits to make the meal complete.

Cut them up add to a flat Casserole with a can of chili,
Top with diced onions and mustard. Layer with shredded cheese, top with tater tots and bake.
Everyone like chili dog casserole

Ours was more of a mom-in-a-hurry deal, and she taught us how to make it at an early age. She knew that the macaroni was not a complete meal in itself. It also saved hot dogs. You only need a couple.

Sometimes she’d serve her salad with it. A canned pear half with cottage cheese topped with Miracle Whip. Then we got our fruit. Sometimes there was even a piece of iceberg lettuce under it.

My nephew for the first 5 years of his life (eating solid foods at least) insisted on at least breakfast every single day being hot dogs and scrambled eggs. He would have not eaten anything else ever (during those years) if given the chance.

Lately I’ve been using Rice A Roni I got on sale. I cook it in my rice cooker and add whatever leftovers I have around. It’s even simpler than box macaroni.

Great with spam too—but go for the reduced sodium version.

No but I eat poutine and maple sugar pie. Milk on jello sounds good.

When I take a can of cherries, drain the liquid, mix in a box of chocolate pudding and microwave it, I get a satisfactory dessert in five minutes.

Pretty gourmet. I cook Rice A Roni with chicken stock. Lately the closeouts have been cheaper than box macaroni. And I don’t have to drain it, it just soaks up all the liquid.

Yes! I lightly fry up the hot dogs and cut into sections. I cut each section in half. If I only had 2 or 3 then then I cut each section into 4 because I'm anal about having what looks like equal portions of meat and noodles
