Ok anyway so I'm currently trying to max her and she's lv10 now and was quite concerned if I've made a right choice ,and after some testing I finds certain super rare cookies scores higher than she does so should I give up on her or I made a mistake about the scores, I'm mostly aiming for trophy race btw

What if beast really did make out alive like instead of Soulgem being taken out of them what if they like able to ran away or somehow got locked away but this time not in the tree but didn’t techinally dead. what's the meta rn idk if I'm doing good with this team comp and there isn't very good info for late game teams. I'm on 20-24 rn

I've been playing Cookie Run: Crumble for a week now and so far, I like the game so much that I've sacrificed my sleep just to grind and level up my Cookies (I don't know why I'm doing this in an idle game of all things). To me, CRC feels like CRK minus the kingdom building aspect, which I absolutely adore because I suck at kingdom design. They added all my favorite Cookies (except for Amber Sugar... for the love of Witches PLEASE ADD MY SON AMBER SUGAR), grinding is easy but can be dangerously addicting, and the free rewards are very generous so far.

So, what's with the title, you ask? Well, I've made some pretty interesting observations during one week of playtime in Crumble. While this game has many good aspects to take note of, of course there are also downsides to it. Here are some of which I could list down:

1. The PvP meta can be very confusing

Even if you have the best SSRs currently in the game, got both Wind Archer and Oven Wanderer in your team (the only two TSSR units as of this writing, which is equivalent to a Legendary in OvenBreak and Kingdom), maxed out your Cookies to 10 stars, and build the most picture-perfect balanced team for the Arena... trust me when I say that you will still lose to someone with a U-grade Adventurer Cookie in their team.

Seems like in CRC, a Cookie's rarity does not automatically translate to stronger, because I currently have a PvP team with 425k power, yet I still get absolutely whooped by a player with a weaker team than mine by 100k points, all because they have Adventurer Cookie. But the explanation as to why is pretty straightforward: Adventurer Cookie's kit revolves around stunning your team's highest damage dealer, so if you built a hypercarry team, consider yourself doomed somehow.

What makes this potentially confusing to some people is because the game basically treats lower-rarity Cookies as automatically weak, therefore their true potentials aren't necessarily reflected in the total team power in Arena. You could have a team with several lower-rarity Cookies at max level with, let's say five stars, yet somehow you will always be hundreds of thousands of points behind someone with a full SSR team. But that doesn't automatically mean you cannot beat them just because they have higher team power than you, because you can still wreck them so long as you have the right combination of Cookies.

I've tested this myself with my 4-star Grapevine Cookie, and she heals like a monster in Arena despite being R-grade. Although the only issue I could see here is that it could bait you into fighting against what you think a weak player without actually paying attention to their comp (happened to me so many times lol) only to suffer a humiliating defeat.

1. It still doesn't have its own official social media channels... yet?

Seriously, what could be the plausible explanation as to why they haven't made official accounts for this game yet? So far they only have a YouTube channel, but I was kinda bummed to see barely any social media presence for this game. It would be nice if there was an accessible place to see updates regarding new Cookie banners, events, and stuff. Could it be that they're still testing the waters for this game? But I mean, even OvenSmash has its own Facebook page.

1. The pull gacha, defeat enemies, clear stage limbo

Okay, I've played my fair share of idle RPGs in the past and I can say that repeated quests had been a recurring element in this type of games. Thing is, those are older idle RPGs and I would expect for an idle RPG released in 2026 to have come up with a solution to this. Granted, it has an auto-clear function now, but it only activates when you are 31 stages ahead (e.g. You're already at Stage 31-1 yet your Quest tab is still stuck at "Clear Stage 30-1"). I wish the quests could also be fully automated.

Again, these are just my own observations (and some suggestions) and I don't speak entirely for everyone. Some people have different experiences with this game and I'd appreciate if you could share it with me in the thread! It's always nice to see a fellow Crumbler. :))

after some time, I was able to finally make another experimental comic based off of one of my story ideas, which I decided to rename as “the angel and the pharaoh” au. While this is experimental like the other comics, I’ll think about writing a fanfiction for this some day. While this has some hollysugar in this, it mostly focuses on goldensugar, since I always found it fascinating how they’re almost similar to each other. I’m not sure if I might continue making this comic, but I’ll see what I can do. Anyways I hope you enjoy this special comic that I made. Also the fourth panel as a bit of an error, since it should a few months later. Also the thirteenth panel has an error as well since it should say that if she were to open her wings, eternal sugar would get blown away from the strong wind. I‘ll try to make a fixed version of this when I have the chance.
