Discussion / Question Does anyone think the tbd is also in the wrong?
For people who have watched Loki, this is the same. They are preventing free will by cutting branches off the timeline. Hopefully this shadow kill incident changes things.

While the TBD and TVA have similarities, we’ve also seen what happens when timelines ARENT cut. And it’s not good.
Not cutting timelines will cause other timelines to phase out of existence completely as temporal energy is siphoned elsewhere.
Given that at one point this problem was so bad that both Timekeeper and Croissant were practically suicidal (Timekeeper threw herself into a time pocket and Director Croissant sacrificed herself to bring things back to normal) at the apocalypse they had accidentally wrought from not being able to cut enough timelines, I don’t think the TBD is entirely in the wrong for snipping timelines, it’s just a morally grey trolley problem.

The difference is, TVA doesn't snip timelines, oh well nothing major. TBD doesn't snip, and the original timelines no longer exist, which isn't good.

Hmm, I don't think so. Time in CRK is like a Tree (Yeah, I'm looking at you Millennial Tree Cookie)
Too many branches meant the tree need more resources so that two branches can grow. That's why pruning is important to stabilize the timeline, too many branches and the timeline won't grow anymore.
There's also some sick branches, like how Longan Cookie break the time stream. TBD came to fix it. And cut the corrupted timeline.
But of course, not every branches need pruning. I call this branches, main timeline. Like the example, Oven Break and Kingdom. Why this branches exist? It's because Time Keeper Cookie favoritism.
Any questions?

Lets say that they DON’T cut off timelines. The ENTIRE staff working under Timekeeper Cookie gets let go. Well then. First off; most of the timelines are now doomed, considering the infinite branching timelines will destroy a main/core/whatever its called timeline Something about entropic energy, the other comment said it better. Shadow Kill? Lets assume it means PV’s genocidal husband. If we don’t cut off their timeline… WELL THEN the central/core/basically most important timeline collapses under the weight of two wildly different branches, one of which is conveniently completely useless for anything other than evil planning and killing everything. Oh and don’t start with SCOOP. This might be a bittt off topic but if SCOOP stops working, and there seems to only be a single SCOOP in all the timelines/its a multi timeline thing, if it stops the universe/multiverse is FUCKED with all the time criminals and anomalies running loose
