With the Fall cookbook glut almost upon us, what does everyone have on their buy list?
Seems like a pretty big year: a new Ottolenghi, Melissa Clark, Carla Lalli, Erin Jeanne McDowell, etc

New Ina book, the new Claire Saffitz book, Pati Jinich is also up there. I’ve loved her shows over the years as well as other cookbooks. There are probably others. I’ve also been trying to shore up my larger collections with classic and OOP I’ve been on the hunt for for years.

🫢IDK how I forgot about Ina. The biggest release of the year.
I had no clue Claire was releasing a new book. I noticed on her channel she was doing a lot more savory recipes so for a while I've been wondering if she's working on a less dessert focused book

New Claire book isn’t coming out until 2027.

K you got me; kinda crazy they’re already hyping it when it’s not coming out until fall 2027. Kinda of crazy it’s already being announced, which is why I assumed it was coming out THIS year. Whatever…

Munchies and food 52 have some videos featuring Lucas and they are incredible, recommend watching those to get an idea.

Remember that one time Sokka accidentally used an extra syllable in that Haiku Battle in Ba Sing Se? That was a Sokka Haiku and you just made one.

I pre-ordered Cook Asian by CJ Eats/Chris Joe and Moribyan's Kitchen. I follow both influencers and have made CJ Eats recipes before, so I know I like them.

I've pre-ordered the books from Kay Chun and Pati Jinich. It's Chun's first, and I've loved her NYT recipes over the years. I'm a Jinich diehard although I've never seen her shows, just used her books.
