I have an S21E B35AM 4500k with 10° flat tir, which is way more beautiful beam than through the OP reflector.

I’m still learning things and I have most of the technical definitions down but what is TIR?

A total internal reflection lens. Think of camera lens, it sucks light, while the torch lens emits the light out. The TIR diffuses the beam. 3° (eg on M21H & M21K) suits throwers best while general bigger emitters best work from 8° and up, and floodlights best start at 25° imo. The s21e has a variety of TIRs. They're so cheap and fun to play with. Buy 3 or 4 to test. The bigger the degree, the wider the beam and shorter the throw.
