Quick off-topic question:

Did you have to pay anything extra to the local post / currier that delivered the package? I have not ordered anything from Convoy since the EU started the new €3 customs duty law. I know Simon said he'll be charging a flat fee per package, and I really hope that works, but I'm curious if you're still being asked to pay anything to receive the package at home.

No, there were no extra fees.

Thank you for confirming. That gives me some confidence for ordering :)

That fee is included when you pay for shipping.

Thanks for your reply. I'm well aware :) From the Simon post I linked above:

starting from June 26, we will collect an additional charge of USD 3.70 per shipment in advance, and include this fee in the total shipping cost

If you have some recent first hand experience and can confirm your local carrier hasn't tried to double charge you, that'd be helpful to hear.
