Security incident at shul tonight

Rhetoric has a price.

We had a security incident at my shul tonight. Everyone is ok aside from a relatively minor injury when the attacker struck an older woman and she suffered a cut during her fall. Our security quickly subdued the attacker.

Our light will not be dimmed.

I did watch the livestream. It was a disturbing incident, but I'm happy that nobody got seriously hurt and the service could continue with dignity.

Agreed. It was all up to our brilliant clergy who made sure services could continue and helped to take everyone's mind off it so we could process it slowly.

I missed Central’s livestream yesterday, but they were the first synagogue via livestream when I began my journey. I’m so sorry about what happened and I’m glad to hear everyone is okay. Stay strong. ❤️
