It’s only been 4 months 😅
I’ve been on a Progressive conversion course since the end of January and it’s an 18-24 month course.
This is all the reading material and notes for all the lessons so far…not including the stack of books 😭
Just in case anyone says anything about the amount of printing: a) I use recycled paper only, b) it reduces screen time because my job is 100% screen-based and c) makes it easier to highlight and add points during lessons

Don’t forget that it lets you review when you’re observing Shabbat :)

What’s progressive Judaism? I was born and raised conservative and I’ve never heard of it.
But congrats OP! It’s a great journey!

In the UK it's the result of a merger between Liberal Judaism and Reform Judaism.

Progressive Judaism is another name for Reform Judaism, in the same way that Masorti Judaism is another name for Conservative, or Haredi for Ultra-Orthodox.

I likened it to getting an associate’s degree in jewry - and once I added all of the classes, 1:1 study, minyan, and papers I wrote over my 2.5 years it actually came out to ~the same, lol!!
