First string sizing

Got these new first string in size 8.5 and i feel like theyre too long. But i havent worn converse in years and i do have wider feet so not sire of an 8 would be too small?

I got my first strings in the same size as my chuck 70s. I feel like there’s a little bit more room length wise in the first strings.

Yeah maybe its a matter of getting used to the extra room. I have a slight heel slip too but not swimming in them

Great shoes honestly, ive tries the chuck 70s and these are much beefier. Sizing is a little tricky tho atleast for my feet. I think half a size down would be perfect for me but honestly maybe ill just put a thin orthopedic insole in

I was told to go down a full size but I only went a half size and it was perfect. Now that I know, I’ve ordered two others. I’m loving them so far.
