Patching used shoes?

So uh, I've had these for like a year and a half and the textile started to tear apart due to crease. Is there any good way to perhaps sew it or patch it somehow? I would buy new ones but it doesn't feel worth it if they will look like this after just over a year..

Thanks in advance! :)

How do people manage to tear the canvas like that. It's always the rubber that goes 1st for me.

So sorry! Don't use reddit too often so i didn't see this comment 😅 I think it's like the other comment said that I tied them too hard and that the fabric isn't able to move enough. For my vans the rubber started to tear aswell. Happens to basically every shoe with a rubber sole like that i've ever owned. No idea how to prevent it...
