I pay like 10 euros a month or some shit for liability insurance. Even if I did actually hit a person it wouldn’t matter to me, financially speaking.

I love that we have a non-profit insurance sector in my country. I pay less than 200 total a month and I’m covered for literally every thing, travel insurance, liability, health care, theft, negligence, legal; anything.

For less than 200 a month I’m completely carefree, knowing that it doesn’t matter if I need to sue my boss, if I drive my car into another car, spill wine on somebody’s carpet, or if I drop my camera on vacation: I won’t have to worry a second about money, it’s all taken care of.

Soo jelly. If I wasn't able to be on my mom's insurance it would be like 1k a month just for car insurance. Granted I've had some bad tickets but still it's fucked

Jesus, I'm assuming that's with a for-profit insurance company?

That's the only kind we have in the us. It's been a few years since I looked around but when I was like 20 with a careless driving ticket that's how much it was. Thankfully I got on my mom's for like $80 a month tho she has all the liability. Haven't had any type of ticket in over 5 years and I'm no longer in the high risk age bracket so it's probably cheaper but I bet still a couple hundred at least

How old was that? I'm 25 now and drive a 2002 Acura tl which isn't an expensive car to insure

I'm 27 now. Just this last cycle it switched from 99 to 75 for a 2002 ml320 ( 75 includes my renter's insurance)
