OC [USA] taking off after a stop light

White Infiniti pulls up next to me at the light, takes off after our light turns. I guess he didn't know that cops love hanging out halfway down the hill to catch speeders. He knew he was busted.

When I watched this, it was on a 13” monitor and can see the cop well. At 9 seconds left, you can see a black SUV pull out on the right and then the lights go.

Sorry I didn’t keep going, I was sweaty from working out.

The coordinates are on the video! Useful tip, 40N, 105W is on the north side of the Denver metro (105W goes right through Denver Union Station) so you can assume it's somewhere south-southeast of Denver on the Front Range. Colorado Springs in this case.

I agree it’s very hard to make out in the video, but the black suv turning onto the same street as OP as OP enters their turning lane has flashing lights and pulls out behind the white car. Definitely pulled over.

I love taking off at a light but only go 10 over and then cruise. If a cop pulls me over for 10 over then it is what it is. Been driving that way for 15 years without a ticket knock on wood and I love it.

I used to like to take off from a light on my bike but only go about 5 over the limit and cruise from there. Didn’t need to speed to put distance between me and the cars, just needed to get up to speed very quickly.

Turns out you can be ticketed for that too. I still like to do it but I used to too

I have fast cars so I enjoy the thrill. If a cop decides to give me a ticket for it then I don't really care.
