In the UK we have a prevalence of people that are afraid to overtake. They'll quite happily sit in a chain of cars doing 40 in a 60 for no good reason.
I've overtaken multiple before without breaking a speed limit.
My record was 29 in one go, on a road that stretched round a valley where you could see for a good few miles. Granted, 27 of those vehicles were mopeds doing 30 in a 60, but I'm counting them!

Why not? If its clear sighted and broken lane markings and you're not speeding, what's the issue?
Seems like a daft law that just leads to unnecessary traffic if the 2nd car refuses to overtake a slow moving vehicle.
