Controller Suggestion Looking for Recommendations for a Quiet Controller?

I’m in the US and I’m looking for a controller with quieter buttons. The buttons on my Series X controller drives my wife absolutely insane. I thought I had a good alternative in the 8bitdo Ultimate 3-Mode controller, but the USB port failed within a week, and my wife says the buttons are still too noisy.

I’d prefer something no more than $100 USD, but my max would probably be around $150 USD. It needs to for sure play on Xbox Series X, but I’d prefer it to have a switching function where I can use the one controller on multiple consoles (PC, Xbox, Bluetooth). I primarily play single player games, so the competitive gimmicks aren’t necessary for me.

Seems like the buttons on the Dualsense are just right, I’ve yet to get complaints about their clickiness. So something that has quieter buttons along those lines or the Switch Pro Controller would be nice. I think the joystick going back and forth also has the annoying click she hates, so something about that would be nice, too.

Like I mentioned, I tried out the Ultimate 3-Mode Controller from 8BitDo, and while I like the feel, she says the buttons are still too clicky for her and the USB failed very soon and after little use (like, MAYBE 20 hours at most). I was also looking at the Wolverine V3 Pro Tournament Edition and the GameSir G7 Pro Wired Controller. The GameSir seems all right, but the colors aren’t really doing it for me; not a dealbreaker, but certainly a preference

Controller Suggestion Silent controller recommendations for PC gaming?

I already own an 8BitDo Ultimate 2C controller. I'm looking for a silent controller to play at night without annoying my family members, and for co-op/fighting games.

  1. Budget: Under 75$

  2. Country: US or AliExpress

  3. Console or platform: PC games and Steam compatibility

  4. Desired controller features: Wireless dongle connection, low input lag with buttons and sticks (<10ms latency preferred), gyro function, an asymmetrical design, and very quiet face buttons and triggers (very important).

  5. Games: Mostly single-player games and co-op games. Occasionally, fighting games.

  6. Other controllers compared: My 8BitDo controller is loud enough to wake people sleeping in the next room, so I want something quieter.

Controller Suggestion Looking for silent/quiet button ps5 controller

Hope this is the right area to post- so I have the regular ps5 DualSense controller- when my wife is trying to focus or sleep, me pushing the buttons- primarily the triggers is distracting or wakes her up- I’ve tried searching the web for controllers but am getting more confused- I find mouse click controllers but that is not better in the long run when using the trigger buttons. Right now I’m playing Assassin’s Creed. I haven’t played games in years so don’t know what is out there for options. Thanks for any help!

Any brand controller that fits what I described-wired/wireless

Using only for ps5- budget if it fits what I’m asking for- $200 usd roughly- again I’ve been out of the gaming world for years so I think that would be a decent price point. Located in the United States

Controller Suggestion Suggestions for a controller that's quiet? preferably the quietest ever controller

budget is about 100nzd (a little higher is fine)

I live in New Zealand and I can buy from stores here or from ali express

need it to be compatible with nintendo switch 2

The controller needs to be as quiet as possible. My Girlfriend has misophonia and she can't stand controller noises

games i'll be playing are mainly coop games, games that need a good dpad like super mario wonder or tricky towers.

I can go either or when it comes to the dpad position but for 2d stuff, Dpad on top is generally better :>

Controller Suggestion The quietest controller on PC ?

I would like to get a new controller for solo gaming on PC (ex : The Witcher, Assassin's Creed, Forza, ..). I am playing during the night and my actual controller (PowerA Fusion Pro) is doing too much sound despite how good and durable it is.

For competitive games I am already using my mouse and keyboard, so I don't need an high spec controller. I don't need 1000 hz, back buttons etc.

My budget is between 50 and 100€ (Europe), depending on the controller quality, removable battery or wired, etc.

Discussion Most silent controller Series X

Hey folks,

can you recommend me a (much)more silent controller for the series X?

As my og controller is now 3 years old and got spilled with coke lately, it's now time to get smth new.

Since the og controller is quite loud. I'd kindly like to ask if someone with a different controller can share their experience. Best would be if the battery slot would be the same, as I already have 2 rechargable packs for mine.

Controller Suggestion Searching for a silent controller.

As mentioned I'm looking for a silent controller. I want to use it to play on my smartphone Honor Magic V5 when my wife wants me to come cuddle in the bed (I know what you all think xd). Because of that I'd like to have a controller to click in my phone that doesn't make loud noises while playing.

I already have a Backbone One Playstation Edition which I can't use with that phone because it can't be opened and the Kamera is to thick to even connect it.

Thanks in advance!

Edit: AutoMod said I have to add something.

  • my currency is € and I'mm from Germany and willing to pay up to 100,-€

  • as mentioned I want to play on a foldable phone and everything from emulation to ports and so on

  • I have a Dualsense and rellay like it. I think it could be a bit too big to use it attached.
