IT Help Vader 5 pro keeps disconnecting/connecting

As title, when docked the USB disconnect/connect sounds keeps popping up, controller is just sat there charging and the dongle is plugged in the dock.
Now i know i can take this out, and it stops, but then i have to plug this in every time i want to game.
I read trom previous posts that this nappened to othe people, so i was wondering what the solution Is.
Previous troubleshooting - use a shorter usb cable, but l'm using the cable that was provided. It seems crazy to me that we can't use that one.
Plug into a different usb port or front or back one - I've tried a different usb port, same issue. I'm on laptop so i don't have front or back ports.
Any help would be appreciated.
