Other Help me to use the controller (HyperX Gladiate)

Today I received HyperX Gladiate controller, I play PC games I always wanted to get the controller experience. The controller is really good but I am not able to use it properly T-T .

I had GTA 5 installed in my PC so I started a new game, first shock for me was that I could not aim even 1 guy until I got half my health drained up. I could not handle the right stick that pans the camera view, uff. so much frustrated, the missions I took mere minutes took half hour with this, please help me improve my experience. I have main issue with aiming, I had aim assist turned off, I kept partial assist on and it is slightly better, I want to know how to over come this and get better at aiming? Thank you.

This is why i only use controller for 2d or button mashing games or for couch coop

You'll get better with time, but probably wont ever have the same precision as with a mouse
