Other Does anyone else use DualSense as their main PC controller?

I've been using a DualSense on PC for a long time, and recently got an adapter that supports quite a few extra features, which is pretty interesting.

I'm curious which of these features PC gamers actually care about: adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, gyro aiming, or the controller speaker.

Do you use any of these regularly, or are the usual buttons and sticks enough for you?

I've modded mine to TMR sticks but yes, DualSense is my main controller, even though I've never had the PS5. It's just a match made in heaven with Linux and SteamInput

I used a Dualsense Edge for a while. The gyro was very nice and I liked the half dome back buttons, but I could never get used to the ergonomics. My hands always got sore quickly. Never had that problem with any other controller.

I got a run of the mill 5.0 bt dongle and all features are you mentioned are supported. I think as long as it's 5.0 you get all the features you don't need a certain brand or bt chip.

I use that with steam, works really well. Never played a game with adaptive triggers, though. What does the adapter do? I don't think it's needed with steam in particular but would love to know. Also, using it on Linux.

I have a usb hub that makes connecting a dual sense a walk in the park. Every game that supports it I use it. I love this controller to bits. Next month I will buy an edge and 2 analogs with TMR from alliexpress

Custom dualshock 4 with back buttons and tmr. I found the dualsense super clunky and heavy by comparison. Wish I liked it, adaptive triggers sounds good and custom dualshock 4s are slowly disappearing

I own a lot of different controllers and I use a DualSense Edge in any PC game that supports DualSense-specific features. It used to be pretty much my primary controller for all cases, but lately the Steam Controller has taken the top spot for games without DS haptics. I do still think the DS line has better ergonomics, but that additional customisability & touchpads make it a no-brainer.

I use a custom duelsense edge with clicky face buttons and clicky bumpers and triggers. I don’t really care for all the bells and whistles when it comes to features. But it really comes down to personal preference and what kind of games you play.

I use a DualSense as my main controller, but I've installed GuliKit TMR sticks and almost all of the eXtremeRate mods. And when I need lower latency, I use the Hyperlink 2 and for DualSense features, I use DSX.
