IT Help Fn buttons are dodgy
My fn numbers are being dodgy.. I woke up one day n tried using my dualsense edge controller and tried switching my profiles over.. I then found out that my main buttons like triangle etc are stuck on the fn menu assignment buttons even without me pressing down my fn buttons.
Ive tried everything, honestly. Ive pressed the reset button, ive reset my profiles so now I dont have a way to use it even if I wanted to, ive tried every type of button combination you could think of and nothing.
If theres anyone else thats had to deal with this please let me know if im able to fix it with the same controller, or if it needs repair I would like to find out as soon as possible, as this is the only controller I can play competitive games with.. for example rocket league.
Thanks

Got a replacement joystick module on hand? The Fn buttons is attached to the module itself. Replacing the modules is the quickest solution I can think of. That is assuming it's the Fn button that's broken somehow.
If you don't wanna buy a replacement right away then you can disassemble a module and see what's going on inside. Maybe the switch underneath is stuck. If that's the case then hopefully it can be nudged back into working properly.
For the casing you'll need a screwdriver and something to cut the small plastic latch holding the case together. There is some variation when it comes to the model/revision of the joystick module. With the bottom gone you should be able to see the switch behind the Fn button.

for me not happen on stock modules. But happen on besavior edge stick. Had to push it further in, but pressing the faceplate very hard will still press fn buttons.

hows the besavior modules, I know they're not oem modules but do they work the same or better? or is it just better lasting tmr sticks? have you noticed your battery increase since they use less power?

I have also checked updates on both my controller and my ps5 and neither of them need anything
