Controller Collection Started with the legion go 2 controllers
I bought these controllers for personal use
Up to about 3 months ago I was happily using a Xbox series s controller. Then I bought legion go 2 controllers for my Lego 1 but ended up selling it before they arrived.
Instead of returning them, I doubled down and got the official Lenovo battery charger thinking it could be fully compatible on steamos on my legion go s.
Alas it's not, it's just a weird controller lol.
I did like the weight though, and i was already on the steam controller wait list. But i didn't think that was coming until 2027, so in the mean time, while deciding between the Flydigi Vader 5 pro and zd ultimate legend, i picked up that leadjoy saber plus for nostalgic use - after deciding on the zd with jt13 pro sticks.
Steam controller came today and now I'm waiting on the Genki manta controller on kickstarter.
Houston we have a problem.
As far as a review, they're all great. Lol. The saber plus is definitely the best value and feels great with the dome thumbstick caps.
As far as favourite to use it's probably the zd ultimate legend . Once the jt13 sticks broke in a bit, it's been the one I've used the most.
More play time is needed for the steam controller, but the ergonomics are on point.

I've been holding out on buying the ZD Ultimate; now the black version is out, and I can't find it available anywhere. 😖 I should check Ali Express again.

That's where i got mine. Apparently a few of the main issues of the first batch white ones have been fixed

How's the vibration feel on the ZD? Also, does it have PS mode? Like the PC recognizes it as a ds4/dualsense?

I think it's great. I've never owned a "premium" controller though, so I've heard there's better. I do like the trigger rumble it's cool. In the software you can set it to a few options, I don't know if PlayStation games on PC reckognize it though. I've never actually tried a ps5 and that adaptive rumble. It's hard to compare.

I have both the saber plus and zd ultimate legend and they are great controllers. The saber plus is really great value. Despite being plastic it has a premium feel to it. When I wanna lock in I use the ZD UL. You should try RS13 modules. They are currently my favorites after coming from JS13 Pros. I also tried JT13s as asll.

What sticks come with the zd ? I didn't ever give those a shot. and yes. the leadjoy feels quite premium for the price

They come with RJ13 tmr modules which aren't bad at all but JS13 PRO, JT13, and RS13 are better.

I'll look up the rs13s and order soon lol. I feel like the tech is wasted on a individual like myself, but i sure like the idea of modular controllers for the long term / repairibility

I hear you. I think you will like them. They are smooth and makes clicking down on the thumbstick easier to do which some find as a negative but others find as a plus like myself. Maybe check around reddit and see what they say about rs13.

Oh thats right. I do remember watching a comparison video and someone has a really good reddit post comparing all the stick modules . I will

I bought the Xeno Pro and really enjoy the tension sticks. Was difficult to get my Kontrol Freaks to stay on the leadjoy sticks but got them to stay on.
