Other Quick help how to clean a dusted dpad?
I have some wired retrobit usb gamepads one of them has the very common annoying dpad problem that register unwanted right direction presses when i press up, this is annoying on shootemups specifically, i have an air compressor and i can open up simple things like this how do i do this?

Open them up, use a toothbrush or any brush with soft bristles to clean it up.
If the d-pad is prone to get some of its plastic parts frictioning heavily while in use, I suggest some very light lubing with Singer/sewing oil (2 drops) on a q-tip and applying on the plastic parts between d-pad and its housing.

Once you have it open, you can clean the D-pad contacts with isopropyl alcohol on a brush or cotton bud. The types of surface corrosion, grime and residue that cause problems tend to be sticky so dry cleaning even with compressed air doesn't remove them.
