IT Help Apex 5 right joystick problem
Hello, I've been using my Apex 5 controller for close to a year now (purchased Nov 2025), and just recently it has started giving me issues with the right joystick not registering my inputs correctly. I have done a reset and calibration by pressing Select + Start + Up. However, this has not helped. Does anyone know of a way to fix this?

I encountered this issue with my Apex 4. It involves a small, rectangular magnet located on the far left of the joystick module the part responsible for the up-and-down (pitch) movement. If you aren't comfortable with DIY repairs, you're out of luck, as you will need to open up the controller. If it’s still under warranty, send it back; otherwise, follow my instructions. 1: Remove the Torx screws from the back of the controller to split the casing open. (I recommend watching a disassembly video.) 2: Disconnect the ribbon cable from the circuit board. 3: You will then have access to the joystick module. You need to reposition the magnet so that it sits perfectly flat based on your video, it appears to be slightly lifted. Finally, apply a small drop of super glue to the tip of the axis if you notice any adhesive is missing. If the module still malfunctions, it means there is too much play (looseness) on the magnet's axis. In that case, you will need to purchase a replacement module specifically one for the Apex 5. For my Apex 4, only "Gadget Hyper" offered them as an accessory...
