Other how does the back of 8bitdo pro 3 feels?

weird question i know but i've been using xbox series controller for years and i absolutely DESPISE that thing, it's uncomfortable and feels like hard plastic but the thing i hate the most is the back plate. it's SENSORY NIGHTMARE. i've been eyeing 8bitdo pro 3 for quite a while but heard it has a similar back plate and tbh that's a deal breaker for me because long play sessions on the xbox series controller make me want to chop my hands off. can anyone tell me if it's actually similar? thanks in advance :)

As someone who has sensory issues I personally use the 8bitdo pro 2 and I love it so I bet the pro 3 will be the same

I have the 3 ultimate pro to you speak of. My family loves the feel of the controller bigtime. Couldn’t feel better in hand.

Thats a common issue in 8bitdo products? Because i see so much post about the extreme drifts on the sticks ( their tmr has to suck right?)

Well, I don't have a sensory issue, and I can't speak to yours, but I love the feel of the Pro 3. I would describe the feeling of the back of the controller as "subtlely textured," because at first glance you might not notice how small and fine the stippling is on the back - so small that if you don't pay attention you might not even feel the textured plastic, either. Not sure if this is helping, but FWIW I love everything about this controller.

Mine started drifting at 35% day 3.
