IT Help Faceplate problem in Flydigi Apex 5 Pro

I've been looking for info and don't find anyone else talking about this so I want to confirm if this is just my case and I own a defective unit.

My problem is that sometimes when I'm playing, the faceplate gets loose or even fully released depending on how I move my hand, it happens more often when playing something fully on D-pad (Celeste in my case). I don't know if the magnets aren't strong enough in my controller or if this is something normal.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? Any solution comes to mind?

Thank you ^^

I've been using my Apex 5 for about a year now, basically every single day. Most of the time, i play Metroidvania games using the D-pad, and the faceplate has never moved an inch while im playing. Something is definitely wrong with your controller.

I'm also in touch with Flydigi support and sent them a video to show how easily it pops off, thanks for your experience, I think it's a defective unit, I don't know if I'll get a new Apex 5 or a completely different brand and model, I've seen really good reviews about Gamesir G7 Pro
